Below is a listing of our recovery and support groups that look at specific recovery areas with an eye toward growing closer to Christ through honest engagement with our struggles. Healing for the Heart (women's group)Contact: Kelly ~ 303-349-5895 Day/Time/Location: First Sat of every month, 3pm at Starbucks (Broadway and I25) This group is for any woman who is in a relationship with a man that has been mentally, emotionally, or physically unfaithful, including pornography or sex addiction. This is a place where you can find support, hope and encouragement. We will be reading from Christian authors on the subject, praying and supporting each other in whatever phase of the healing process each individual finds themselves. Divorce Recovery (co-ed group) Contact: Michele Jenkins ~303.503.2304 Day/Time/Location: Sundays, 9:30am at South High School The intention of this group is to find support and friendships with others going through a divorce in a positive environment. Divorce is one event in our lives, and it can be a season of growth. Join us so we can go into the journey together to see what is next in our lives and what God has in store for us!
Path of Recovery - Drug & Alcohol Recovery (co-ed group) Contact: Tim McDonald~720.422.2627 Day/Time/Location: Mondays, 6:30pm at the Temepe Events Center Through the use of biblical principles, 12 Step wisdom, and the power of self-disclosure, this group is embarking on a journey toward lasting transformation and healing through faith and dependence upon Jesus Christ. This group is open to individuals who have struggled or are struggling with compulsive drug and/or alcohol use. Eating Disorder Group (co-ed group) Contact: EDGroup@pathwayschurch.org Day/Time/Location: Saturdays. 9:30a the at Temple Events Center This group is for women and men who struggle with anorexia, bulimia, anorexia nervosa, compulsive overeating, and other eating disorders that control your life. There is hope and freedom. this group will offer a sage place to share your struggles and find accountability from people struggling with similar pains. CoDA Group (Co-Dependents Anonymous) (co-ed group) Contact: Sarah Goodwin Day/Time/Location: Tuesdays, 7pm at the Temple Events Center Do you identify with any of the following statements? I minimize, alter or deny how I truly feel. I have difficulty making decisions. i harshly judge everything I think, say, or do. It is never "good enough." I compromise my own values and integrity to avoid rejection or others' anger. I have to be "needed" in order to have a relationship with others. These statements reflect some of the feelings that are consistent with codependency. Co-Dependents Anonymous is a group designed to be a safe place to explore some of the unhealthy patterns we experience in relationships and begin the healing process towards real intimacy and love. If you're struggling with the effects of sexual assault, this is a place to be listened to, understood, and encouraged. Come talk to others that know what you have been through and what you are going through now. Let's help each other heal our emotional and relational wounds so that God can continue to use us in strong ways.
